Rule 22-B3919 - MONITORING SERVICES3919.1If monitoring services are provided, they shall be provided in accordance with the patient's plan of care.
3919.2Monitoring services shall be provided by the following persons:
(a) A registered nurse certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and who has additional training and experience working with patients with disorders requiring fetal monitors, cardiac monitors, apnea monitors, or any other monitoring device or emergency intervention;(b) A physician certified to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and who has additional training or experience working with patients with disorders requiring fetal monitors, cardiac monitors, apnea monitors, or any other monitoring device or emergency intervention;(c) A certified emergency medical technician who has additional training or experience working with patients with disorders requiring fetal monitors, cardiac monitors, apnea monitors, or any other monitoring device or emergency intervention; or(d) In the case of respiratory monitoring only, a licensed respiratory therapist.D.C.
