The interior and exterior of each community residence facility shall be maintained in a safe, clean, orderly, attractive, and sanitary manner free from accumulations of dirt, rubbish, and objectionable odors.
Each community residence facility shall provide appropriate procedures, personnel, and equipment to ensure sufficient clean linen supplies and the proper sanitary washing and handling of linen and personal clothing of residents.
An adequate supply of linen, including replacements, shall be maintained.
All bed linens shall be changed and cleaned as often as necessary to maintain clean linen on the beds at all times, but in no case shall bed linens be changed less often than once a week.
Soiled linen shall be handled in a sanitary manner.
Personal laundry of residents and personnel shall be collected, transported, sorted, washed, and dried in a sanitary manner, separate from bed linen.
When feasible, arrangements shall be made so that residents who wish to do so shall have a safe and convenient place to wash out and dry small amounts of personal laundry.
