Rule 22-B2816 - REHABILITATION MEDICINE
2816.1

Each pediatric trauma care facility shall have a physician-directed rehabilitation service program staffed by personnel trained in rehabilitation care and equipped properly for the care of the critically injured patient, including, at a minimum, the following:

(a) Physical therapy;
(b) Occupational therapy;
(c) Speech therapy; and
(d) Social service.

Pediatric trauma care facilities may have transfer agreements with a rehabilitation service for long term care.
