Rule 22-B1926 - TAKING OF SAMPLES
1926.1

Whenever the Director or other authorized agent of the Department has reason to believe that a drug or medical device is maintained or dispensed in violation of these rules or other District or federal laws or regulations, he or she may take a sample of that item or items pursuant to this section.

1926.2

In addition to sample taking authorized pursuant to § 1926.1 of this chapter, the Director or authorized agent may take a reasonable number of samples as a part of the regular pharmacy inspection process to check for compliance with the Act, this chapter, and other laws or regulations applicable to the practice of pharmacy.

1926.3

The Director or authorized agent may affix to a product, device, or drug a tag or other appropriate marking giving notice that the sample product has been marked for inspection.
