Pursuant to § 11 of the District of Columbia Hazardous Waste Management Act of 1977, effective March 16, 1978, as amended (D.C. Law 2-64; D.C. Official Code § 8-1310 (2001)), the Director may seek a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction, permanent injunction, or other appropriate relief in court, or any administrative, civil, or criminal penalty, or other remedy authorized by § 12 of the Act, D.C. Official Code § 8-1311, including cost recovery, for failure to comply with a final compliance order, final cease and desist order, or final modification, suspension, or revocation order.
