Rule 20-2200 - GENERAL PROVISIONS
2200.1

The purpose of the Pesticide Operation Regulations, Chapters 22 through 25 of this title, is to conform the laws of the District of Columbia with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), effective April 26, 2010, as amended (7 U.S.C. §§ 136et seq.), and the implementing regulations, and to establish a regulatory process in the District of Columbia as provided for in the Pesticide Operations Act of 1977, effective April 18, 1978, as amended (D.C. Law 2-70; D.C. Official Code §§ 8-401et seq.).

The Pesticide Operation Regulations, Chapters 22 through 25 of this title, apply to all pesticide operations in the District, including federal pesticide operations, to the full extent permitted by FIFRA.
