Rule 19-3419 - PERFORMANCE
3419.1

The Commission shall evaluate each employee during his or her probationary period and at least once each year thereafter.

3419.2

During the performance evaluation process, a supervisor may notify a non- probationary employee that the overall level of his or her performance is unsatisfactory. If improvement is not forthcoming following the evaluation, the supervisor shall take corrective action pursuant to section 3421.

3419.3

After an employee's written performance evaluation has been conducted, a supervisor may recommend a merit increase for the employee. Employees shall have received at least an outstanding performance rating to be eligible for a merit increase.

3419.4

The Commission, with the approval of the Commission Board, may give an incentive award to eligible employees who have demonstrated superior performance.
