Rule 17-9328 - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR HOME HEALTH AIDE TRAINEES
9328.1

Each trainee shall be required to take a Board-approved pre-admission examination to assess reading, writing, and math skills prior to enrollment in a training program to ensure that the trainee is able to understand, speak, read, and write the English language at a minimum of the fifth (5th) grade level.

9328.2

Each trainee shall be provided information in writing on the policies governing admission, retention, dismissal, and the course requirements of the training program.

9328.3

Each trainee shall be free of communicable disease as verified in writing by a nurse practitioner or physician.
