Rule 17-8914 - DENIAL, SUSPENSION, OR REVOCATION OF TRADE NAME REGISTRATION
8914.1

The trade name registration of any person who makes any false or misleading statement in the filing of any information or the application is incomplete as required under this chapter shall be denied, suspended, or revoked by the Director.

8914.2

Any failure to comply with this chapter shall result in a civil infraction and fines as provided under the Civil Infraction; Schedule of Fines, 16 DCMR 3201.1(c).

8914.3

Any flagrant, fraudulent, or willful conduct in complying with this chapter shall result in a civil infraction and fines as provided under the Civil Infractions; Schedule of Fines, 16 DCMR 3201.1(b).

8914.4

Any false information provided regarding fines, penalties, or interest in the amount greater than one hundred dollars owed shall require the Department to proceed immediately to revoke the trade name registration and impose a fine of one thousand dollars as required in D.C. Official Code § 47 -2864.
