Rule 17-2412 - COMPLETION OF ELECTRONIC NOTARIAL CERTIFICATE
2412.1

For every electronic notarial act and remote notarial act, a notary public shall complete an electronic notarial certificate that complies with the requirements of Sections 15 and 16 of the Act (D.C. Official Code §§ 1-1231.14 and 1-1231.15).

2412.2

An electronic notarial certificate shall be completed at the time of notarization and, except for a remote notarial act, in the physical presence of the individual making the statement or executing the signature.
