Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, an applicant for veterinary technician certification shall furnish proof satisfactory to the Board that the applicant has successfully graduated from a two (2) year associate program in the practice of veterinary technology or animal health at an institution accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (CVTEA) at the time the applicant graduated.
