Rule 16-1804 - TERM AND RENEWAL OF LICENSES
1804.1

An alarm dealer license and an alarm agent license shall expire at 12:00 midnight on July 31st of every other year.

1804.2

A licensee shall submit a renewal application for an alarm dealer or alarm agent license to the Director at least thirty (30) days before the expiration date of the current license.

1804.3

The Director shall approve renewal applications if the following conditions are met:

(a) There are no outstanding violations of the Act or this chapter;
(b) All fines or collaterals with respect to violations of the Act or this chapter that have become due have been paid;
(c) The applicant is in compliance with the Act, this chapter and all other laws and regulations of the District; and
(d) The license renewal fee has been paid.
1804.4

If the Director fails to act on a timely renewal request before the expiration of the existing license, the applicant shall be considered still licensed until the Director acts on the renewal application.

1804.5

The Director may for "good cause shown" grant an extension of time for filing renewal application.
