Rule 14-5304 - ALIMONY AND CHILD SUPPORT AS INCOME
5304.1

DCHA shall count court-awarded amounts for alimony and child support unless DCHA verifies that the payments have not been made in the last six (6) months.

5304.2

If the amounts received for child support or alimony are not received on a regular basis, DCHA shall anticipate income by performing an average of the last twelve (12) complete months. The average shall include months in which no payments were received and months in which lump sum amounts were received to catch up for prior missed payments.

5305.3

If the Family begins to receive child support or alimony payments at any time, the Family is obligated to report the change in accordance with § 5316 and § 5317.
