Rule 11-J400 - PURPOSE AND INTENT
400.1

The base zone development standards in Subtitle J, Chapter 2 shall apply to the PDR-1/FT and PDR-4/FT zones except as specifically modified by this chapter. In the event of a conflict between the provisions of this chapter and other regulations of this title, the provisions of this chapter shall control.

400.2

In addition to the purposes of the PDR zones, the purposes of the Fort Totten PDR zones (PDR-1/FT and PDR-4/FT) are to:

(a) Encourage future development while enabling existing industries to remain in the District; and
(b) Protect surrounding residential areas from the adverse impacts of existing industrial support uses by means of the buffering standards.
