A building in the D-1-R zone is subject to the use regulations in Subtitle I, Chapter 3 and is not eligible to generate or receive credits otherwise enabled by Subtitle I, Chapters 8 and 9.
If a non-residential use is permitted in the D-1-R zone, it shall be located on or below the ground floor.
A building located in both the D-1-R zone and the Chinatown Sub-Area shall not be subject to the use requirements of the Chinatown Sub-Area regulations in Subtitle I § 609, except that a building in the D-1-R zone with frontage on 5th or 6th Streets, N.W. in Square 485 shall meet the general use requirements of Subtitle I § 601 for a designated secondary street segment.
