Rule 11-700 - NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING DISTRICTS (C-1)

700.1

The Neighborhood Shopping (C-1) District is designed to provide convenient retail and personal service establishments for the day-to-day needs of a small tributary area, with a minimum impact upon surrounding residential development.

700.2

Each C-1 District shall only permit low-bulk development and, in general, shall be mapped only in outlying areas.

700.3

Some community facilities, housing, and mixed uses, as well as the usual neighborhood shopping and service establishments, shall be permitted.

700.4

Except as provided in chapters 20 through 25 of this title, in a C-1 District, no building or premises shall be used and no building shall be erected or altered that is arranged, intended, or designed to be used except for one (1) or more of the uses listed in §§ 701 through 711.
