In reviewing and evaluating applications, the Office of Business and Economic Development (OBED) shall determine whether a proposed bond would constitute an exempt purpose bond or a qualified industrial development bond and shall advise the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development of its determination.
Exempt purpose bonds shall not be subject to any provisions of this chapter applicable to industrial development bonds, specifically including, but not limited to, the provisions of §§ 5002.5, 5004, 5006, 5007, and 5008.
The provisions of §§ 5006 through 5008 shall apply solely to industrial development bonds.
