The OST Office may establish a priority or set of priorities for each grant competition to improve the equitable distribution of OST programs and funding.
In establishing a priority or set of priorities for a grant competition, the OST Office shall follow the priorities established by the OST Commission's for at-risk students, geographic distribution of OST programs and funding, and program quality established pursuant to Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes Establishment Act of 2016, effective April 7, 2017 (D.C. Law 21-261; D.C. Official Code § 2- 1555.04(c)).In the absence of any such established priorities, the OST Office may establish a priority or set of priorities for a grant competition after consultation with the OST Commission.
The OST Office may provide additional points to an application if the OST Program requested to be funded by the application meets the priority or priorities established for the grant competition.
