Section 17-210a-21 - Notice of hearings(a) Except when the commissioner shall otherwise direct, the commissioner shall give written notice of a hearing in any pending matter to all parties, to all persons who have been permitted to participate as intervenors, to all persons otherwise required by statute to be notified, and to such other persons as have filed with the commissioner their written request for notice of hearing in a particular matter. Written notice shall be given to such additional persons as the commissioner shall direct. The commissioner may give such public notice of the hearing as the commissioner shall deem appropriate.(b) Notice of a hearing shall include but shall not be limited to the following: (1) a statement of the time, place and nature of the hearing; (2) a statement of the legal authority and jurisdiction under which the hearing is to be held and the particular sections of the statutes and regulations involved; (3) a short and plain statement of fact describing the purpose of the hearing and the principal facts to be asserted therein.Conn.
