Section 14-276a-2 - Requirements for applicants for a school endorsement(a) No school endorsement for operation of a school bus or student transportation vehicle shall be issued or renewed until the applicant has submitted to the department a certificate of safety training, certifying that the applicant has successfully completed the training specified in Section 14-276a-3 or Section 14-276a-5. The certificate shall be signed by the applicant and by an approved instructor. This subsection shall not apply to an operator having a school endorsement accompanied by a "V" restriction.(b) An applicant for a school endorsement to operate a school bus shall hold a valid commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement.(c) An applicant for a school endorsement to operate a student transportation vehicle shall hold a valid operator's license.Conn.
