Section 14-78-46 - Insurance(a) Every vehicle used in a driver education program shall be registered as required by law, and shall have a minimum liability insurance and uninsured motorist coverage for each vehicle of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage.(b) If the commissioner receives notice of cancellation of the required insurance, the vehicle or vehicles for which the insurance has been canceled shall not be used in behind-the-wheel instruction, or examination of students, unless proof of a renewed or reinstated insurance policy is received by the commissioner.(c) Any lapse or cancellation of any insurance policy may result in the suspension, revocation, or refusal to renew the driving school license or the imposition of a civil penalty pursuant to sections 14-72 and 14-79 of the Connecticut General Statutes.Conn.
