Section 1 CCR 301-25-36.0 - Retro-Reflective material36.1 Retro-reflective material shall be installed on the bus conforming to the requirements of FMVSS 131 and 217.36.2 Rear of bus body: strips of between 1-inch and 2-inch retro-reflective NSBY material shall be applied horizontally above the rear windows and above the rear bumper, extending from the rear emergency exit perimeter marking outward to the left and right rear corners of the bus, with vertical strips applied at the corners connecting the horizontal strips.36.3 "School Bus" signs: shall be marked with retro-reflective NSBY material comprising background for the lettering of the front and/or rear "School Bus" signs.36.4 Sides of the multifunction bus body shall be marked with white retro-reflective material at least 1 3/4 inches in width, extending the length of the bus body and located (vertically) as close as practicable to the floor line.36.5 Sides of the school bus body: shall be marked with retro-reflective NSBY material at least 1 3/4 inches in width, extending the length of the bus body and located (vertically) as close as practical to the floor line38 CR 07, April 10, 2015, effective 4/30/201546 CR 14, July 25, 2023, effective 8/14/202347 CR 19, October 10, 2024, effective 10/30/2024
