Section 429.14 - What criteria will Reclamation consider when reviewing applications?Reclamation will consider the following criteria when reviewing applications:
(a) Compatibility with authorized project purposes, project operations, safety, and security;(b) Environmental compliance;(c) Compatibility with public interests;(d) Conflicts with Federal policies and initiatives;(e) Public health and safety;(f) Availability of other reasonable alternatives; and(g) Best interests of the United States.
