Section 721.5279 - 2,7-Naphthalenedisulfonic acid, 4-amino-3-[[4'2-amino-4-[(3-butoxy-2-hydroxypropyl)amino] phebyl]azo]-3,3'-dimethyl[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]azo]-5-hydroxy-6-(phenylazo)-, disodium salt(a)Chemical substance and significant new uses subject to reporting.(1) The chemical substance identified as 2,7-naphthalenedisulfonic acid, 4-amino-3-[[4'2-amino-4-[(3-butoxy-2-hydroxypropyl)amino]phebyl]azo]-3,3'-dimethyl[1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl]azo]-5-hydroxy-6-(phenylazo)-, disodium salt (PMN P-97-131; CAS No. 103580-64-9) is subject to reporting under this section for the significant new uses described in paragraph (a)(2) of this section.(2) The significant new uses are:(i)Industrial, commercial, and consumer activities. Requirements as specified in § 721.80 (f), (v)(1), (w)(1), and (x)(1) .(ii)Release to water. Requirements as specified in § 721.90 (a)(4), (b)(4), and (c)(4) (N = 40).(b)Specific requirements. The provisions of subpart A of this part apply to this section except as modified by this paragraph. (1)Recordkeeping.
