Section 1203.501 - Applying derivative classification markingsPersons who apply derivative classification markings shall:
(a) Observe and respect original classification decisions:(b) Verify the information's current level of classification so far as practicable before applying the markings; and(c) Carry forward to newly created documents any assigned authorized markings.
