Section 755 - Design and Construction of Fired Pressure Vessels(a) All fired pressure vessels shall be constructed, inspected, and stamped in accordance with the Code insofar as applicable. Those vessels not included in the scope of the Code shall be designed and constructed in accordance with good engineering practice regarding pressure vessel design for the pressure and temperature to be expected in service with a factor of safety of at least four.(b) Good engineering practice as used in this article shall be construed to require the employer to provide details of design and construction which will be as safe as otherwise provided by the rules in the Code including shop inspection.Cal.
