Section 17342 - Approval of Final Budget(a) Immediately after certification of average daily attendance pursuant to Education Code Section 41303, the Superintendent of Public Instruction shall adjust the tentatively approved budget, if necessary, in order to: (1) Assure certification of an amount under the provisions of Section 41332 of the Education Code not in excess of the amount provided by law.(2) Recognize the differences between the actual data for the preceding fiscal year as of June 30 and the estimated amounts used in giving tentative approval of the budget.(b) The Superintendent of Public Instruction shall notify the county superintendent of adjustments made in the tentatively approved budget.
