Section 12038 - Spac Officers(a) At the first regularly scheduled SPAC meeting after September 1 of each year, the SPAC shall nominate and elect from its membership a President and a Vice President.(b) Only parent members shall be eligible to vote for and serve as officers.(c) Absentee voting shall not be permitted.(d) Officers shall be installed immediately after the election.(e) Except as provided in subdivision (h), officers may only serve in a given office for a single one-year term.(f) The President, in collaboration with the CDE, shall preside at meetings.(g) The Vice President shall assist the President with his or her duties and preside in the absence of the President.(h) In the event the President is unable to complete his or her term, the Vice President shall complete the President's term. Thereafter, the Vice President filling the President's term is eligible to be elected President to a single one-year term.(i) In the event the Vice President is unable to complete his or her term, the SPAC shall elect, as soon as possible, another member to complete the Vice President's term.
