In order to qualify for participation in cooperative vocational education, a student shall:
(a) Be at least 16 years of age except, a student with exceptional needs, including, but not limited to, financial or motivational needs as determined by the principal or local educational director.(b) Be a full-time student. For the purpose of this section, a full-time student means one of the following:(1) A student enrolled in continuation/alternative education.(2) A student enrolled in a regional occupational center or regional occupational program.(3) A student enrolled in the regular school for the minimum day, excluding cooperative vocational education.(4) A student enrolled in a summer school approved pursuant to regulations of the State Board.(c) Have parental or guardian approval if under 18 years of age.(d) Be currently enrolled in the approved vocational education course/program.Cal.
