Section 232 - Payment of Contestants(a) All contestants shall be paid in full according to their contracts, and no part or percentage of their remuneration may be withheld except by order of a representative of the commission, nor shall any part thereof be returned through arrangement with the boxer or his manager to any matchmaker, assistant matchmaker, or club official. The boxer or manager may not assign his respective share of the purse, or any portion thereof, without the approval of the commission, upon written request filed with the commission at least 72 hours before the contest.(b) At no time shall the contracted purse amount paid to the boxer be less than one hundred dollars ($100) per round.Cal.
