Section 27 - Retail Store-Qualifications"Retail store" means premises which hold only an off-sale beer and wine or an off-sale general license. Premises may be licensed as a retail store provided the licensee at such premises complies with the following provisions:
(a) Alcoholic beverages shall be sold only in the original package for consumption off the premises.(b) Alcoholic beverages offered for sale shall be displayed and available for convenient inspection and purchase by the general public. The licensee shall not refuse to sell, for immediate delivery, to qualified purchasers any item of alcoholic beverages on display for sale.(c) All alcoholic beverages sold shall be delivered from the licensed premises, and shall not be delivered from a supply of alcoholic beverages stored off the licensed premises.(d) The licensee may accept telephone orders for the purchase of alcoholic beverages only during the hours in which the retail store is open to the general public.Cal.
