Section 1239 - Identification of Poultry Meat Inspectors
(a) Each licensed poultry meat inspector shall be furnished with a numbered official identification card that he shall be prepared to present upon request by a Department employee. The applicant for a license as a poultry meat inspector shall furnish the department accurate information as to the applicant's sex, date of birth, height, weight, color of hair, color of eyes, which shall appear on such card for the purpose of identification. The applicant for a poultry meat inspector's license shall furnish the department two satisfactory recent photographs of himself, size 1 inch by 1 " inch, one of which shall be attached to the identification card; the other will be held in the Department files. This card shall serve as a certificate of license and shall be sufficient to entitle him to admittance at all regular entrances and to all parts of the plant and premises at which he is employed.
(b) Upon receipt of application for renewal and accompanying renewal fee for annual renewal of the poultry meat inspector license and subject to documented attendance at mandatory annual maintenance training provided by the Department, the poultry meat inspector shall be provided with a renewal certificate. The renewal certificate or a copy of the certificate shall be visibly posted in the plant where the poultry meat inspector is employed.
