The Environmental Enforcement and Training Grant Program is established in order to provide financial assistance for statewide enforcement and training programs on the enforcement of environmental laws for eligible organizations; to enhance the enforcement of environmental laws; and to ensure that disadvantaged communities, low-income residents, and other populations that are disproportionately burdened by pollution receive the benefit of enforcement of local, state, and federal environmental laws.
