On September 19, 2013, the Regional Water Quality Control Board, Colorado River Basin Region (Colorado River Basin Water Board), in a duly-noticed public meeting, adopted Resolution R7-2013-0049, amending its Water Quality Control Plan (Basin Plan) regarding the Onsite Wastewater Treatment System implementation program. In particular, the Resolution amended sections of the Basin Plan that discuss septic systems by incorporating by reference without change the OWTS Policy into the Basin Plan and deleting those sections of the Basin Plan that were superseded by the OWTS Policy. Pursuant to Water Code section 13245, on December 3, 2013, the State Water Board, in a duly-noticed public meeting, reviewed and approved the Colorado River Basin Water Board's Basin Plan amendment by adopting Resolution 2013-0039.
