Section 2594 - Waste Characteristics(a) Dischargers shall provide the following information in the report of waste discharge about the characteristics of wastes to be discharged at the waste management units subject to this chapter.(1) A list of the types, quantities, and concentrations of wastes proposed to be discharged at each unit. Wastes and known waste constituents shall be specifically identified according to the most descriptive nomenclature. A listing for hazardous waste constituents shall include reference numbers for listings established by DHS or USEPA (e.g., Appendix IX to § 66264 of Title 22 of this code).(2) A description of proposed treatment, storage, and disposal methods.(3) An analysis of projected waste decomposition processes for each waste management unit indicating intermediate and final decomposition products and the period during which decomposition will continue following discharge.Cal.
