Section 449.7 - Department Review(a) The Department shall evaluate each application for preliminary eligibility based on the applicant's description of the project, program, or study, and financial and cost information provided. The Department will notify the applicant of the applicant's preliminary eligibility status.(b) A Technical Review Committee (TRC) shall be established by the Department to evaluate the project or study and to make recommendations to the Department.(c) The TRC shall be composed of Department representatives, representatives of the Department of Fish and Game, and other state and federal representatives, as determined by the Department.Cal.
