"Pediatric Receiving Center" or "PedRC" means a licensed general acute care hospital with, at a minimum, a permit for standby, basic, or comprehensive emergency services that has been formally designated as one of four types of PedRCs pursuant to sections 100163.01 through 100163.05, by the local EMS agency for its role in an EMS system.
