Section 85000 - General

(a) Adult Residential Facilities, as defined in Section 80001(a)(5), shall be governed by the provisions specified in this chapter and in Chapter 1, General Requirements. In addition, Subchapter 1 of this chapter shall apply when a licensee utilizes or reasonably foresees that he or she will utilize a manual restraint or seclusion.

(1) Section 85102 shall apply to all Adult Residential Facilities.

1. 3. Amendment of subsection (a) and new subsection (a)(1) filed 2-9-2017 as an emergency; operative 2-9-2017 (Register 2017, No. 6). A Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 8-8-2017 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
4. Certificate of Compliance as to 2-9-2017 order transmitted to OAL 8-3-2017 and filed 9-15-2017 (Register 2017, No. 37).
5. Change without regulatory effect amending subsection (a)(1) filed 1-2-2019 pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2019, No. 1).
