Section 84170 - Children's Records(a) In addition to Section 84070, the following shall apply.(b) The following information regarding the child shall be obtained and maintained in the child's record: (1) Signed copies of the facility's policies and procedures regarding the child's transfer to and from secure and nonsecure portions of the facility, due process rights, and the continued stay criteria as specified in Section 84168.2(d)(3).(2) A complete mental health record as specified in Section 1927(a) of the California Code of Regulations, Title 9, Chapter 11.(3) A copy of a child's request for release and any notification documents to the superior court as specified in Section 84172(c).Cal.
