Section 84065.7 - Night Supervision(a) In group homes providing care and supervision to 12 or fewer children, there shall be one child care staff person on duty from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.; for minor parent programs this requirement shall be from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.(b) In group homes providing care and supervision to 13 to 30 children, there shall be one child care staff person awake and on duty from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.; for minor parent programs this requirement shall be from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (1) Another person shall be on call and capable of arriving at the facility site within 30 minutes.(c) In group homes providing care and supervision to 31 or more children, there shall be one child care staff person awake and on duty from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. for the first 30 children; and one child care staff person awake and on duty for each additional 30 children or fraction of that amount; for minor parent programs this requirement shall be from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.(d) For purposes of determining the appropriate staff to children ratio, children shall include all children present in the facility.(e) In facilities required to have a signal system as specified in Sections 84088(d) through (d)(3), at least one staff person shall be responsible for responding to such system.Cal.
