(a) Prior to dialysis treatment, the dialyzer shall be labeled with: patient's name (last name, first name or initial), current date of dialysis treatment, and reuse number.(b) The label shall be nonremovable.(c) All markings on the label shall be in indelible ink.(d) The label shall be placed so as not to obscure the name of the dialyzer manufacturer, model number, serial and/or lot number, or arterial blood compartment-side indicator.(e) All subsequent markings on the label as required by other sections in this Article shall be made by the reprocessing technician.Cal.
