Section 79821 - Space Conversion and Remodeling(a) Spaces approved for specific uses at the time of licensure shall not be converted to other uses or remodeled without the written approval of the Department, and shall also be in compliance with the requirements of the California Building Standards Code and the State Fire Marshal.(b) Where remodeling, space conversion or new construction involves displacement or disruption of services which result in relocating a patient, the facility shall develop an implementation plan.
