Section 69507.1 - Informal Dispute Resolution Procedures(a) Request for Review. For a dispute regarding a decision made by the Department under the provisions of this chapter other than article 6, a responsible entity may, within thirty (30) days following the mailing of the notice or the website posting of the Department's decision that is the basis of the dispute, whichever is later, request that the Department informally resolve the dispute. The Department shall provide the responsible entity with an opportunity to resolve the dispute informally within thirty (30) days of receiving the request for dispute resolution. If a request for informal dispute resolution is not received within thirty (30) days of the notice or website posting of the Department's decision, the Department's decision is final and is not eligible for any dispute resolution procedures under this article.(b) Administrative Appeal. If the responsible entity disagrees with the Department's decision following completion of the informal dispute resolution process, the responsible entity may appeal to the Director of the Department under section 69507.2.Cal.
