Section 50179.7 - Notice of Action - Medi-Cal Eligibility of SSI/SSP Recipients(a) The Department of Health Services shall notify persons determined to be eligible for SSI/SSP by the Social Security Administration that they are also eligible for Medi-Cal.(b) The Department of Health Services shall notify persons whose Medi-Cal eligibility has been discontinued by the Department pursuant to Section 50183.5 that their public assistance Medi-Cal eligibility has been discontinued and that the county department will contact them to assist them with the completion of a Medi-Cal-only application.Cal.
