Section 110250 - Dispute

A "dispute," for purposes of Article 6 in Subchapter 1 of Chapter 1 and Article 2 of Chapter 10, is a verbal or written communication from a case participant describing an action or inaction by the Department or the local child support agency in their child support case which requires resolution by the local child support agency and is a basis for a complaint if unresolved by the local child support agency.
