A covered entity may comply with the provisions of section 14335 through such means as redesign of equipment, reassignment of classes or other services to accessible buildings, assignments of aides to beneficiaries, home visits, delivery of services at alternate accessible sites, alteration of existing facilities, or other methods that result in making its program or activities accessible to people with disabilities. A covered entity is not required to make structural changes in existing facilities where other methods are effective in achieving compliance with section 14335. In choosing among available methods for meeting the provisions of section 14335, it is a prohibited practice for a covered entity to fail to give priority to those methods that offer programs and activities to people with disabilities in the most integrated setting appropriate.
