(a) A Pregnancy Leave May Also Be a FMLA Leave. If the employer is a covered employer and the employee is eligible for leave under the federal Family Care and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the employer may be able to count the employee's pregnancy disability leave under this article, up to a maximum of 12 weeks, against her FMLA leave entitlement.(b) FMLA Coverage.
