Section 990 - Headrests, Shampoo Trays and Bowls, and Treatment Tables(a) The headrest of chairs shall be covered with a clean towel or paper sheet for each client.(b) Shampoo trays and bowls must be cleansed with soap and water or other detergent after each shampoo, kept in good repair and in a sanitary condition at all times.(c) Treatment tables must be covered with either clean treatment table paper, a clean towel or a clean sheet, after each use. After a towel or sheet has been used once, it shall immediately be removed from the treatment table and be deposited in a closed container and not used again until it has been properly laundered and sanitized.
