Section 3999.206 - Right to Health Care Services

(a) Patients shall be provided an opportunity to report an illness or any other health problem and receive an evaluation of the condition and medically necessary treatment and follow-up by health care staff.

1. Change without regulatory effect renumbering and amending former subsections 3354.2(b)-(c)(4)(G) to new section 3999.206 filed 8-6-2018 pursuant to section 100, title 1, California Code of Regulations (Register 2018, No. 32).
2. Amendment of section heading and repealer of subsections (b)-(b)(4)(G) filed 3-12-2019 as an emergency; operative 3-12-2019 (Register 2019, No. 11). Pursuant to Penal Code section 5058.3, a Certificate of Compliance must be transmitted to OAL by 8-19-2019 or emergency language will be repealed by operation of law on the following day.
3. Certificate of Compliance as to 3-12-2019 order transmitted to OAL 8-14-2019 and filed 9-24-2019 (Register 2019, No. 39).
