Section 3999.204.1 - Appointment of Counsel for Capacity Determination Hearings(a) The Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) shall not appoint an attorney to represent the patient on a filed CDCR 7702 petition who may have a conflict of interest with the patient or the Department.(b) Any interested person may object to the attorney appointed by OAH by verified objection stating the facts and circumstances of the conflict of interest and reasons why OAH should appoint a different attorney to represent the patient on the petition.Cal.
